Refund and Return Policy

At The Kranken, we want to ensure you get the correct parts for your machine. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help.

Return Window

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return. If 30 days have passed since your order was delivered, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it:

  • Unused and Uninstalled: We cannot accept chains, sprockets, or components that have been installed, tensioned, or run on a machine.

  • Original Packaging: The item must be in the original packaging with all tags, labels, and protective covers intact.

  • Proof of Purchase: A receipt or order number is required to complete your return.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Items that have been installed or used.

  • Items not in their original condition, are damaged, or are missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

  • Items returned more than 30 days after delivery.

Shipping Costs

  • Defective or Incorrect Items: If you received a defective item or the wrong part due to our error, we will provide a prepaid shipping label.

  • Fitment Issues / Change of Mind: If you are returning an item because it does not fit (and you did not verify fitment with us prior to purchase) or you changed your mind, you will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Restocking Fee

All returns subject to "Customer Remorse," "Wrong Part Ordered," or "Fitment Issues" are subject to a 25% restocking fee. This fee will be deducted from your refund amount. No restocking fee for defective items.

How to Initiate a Return

  1. Contact Us: Email us at returns@thekranken.com with your Order Number and the reason for the return.

  2. Receive RMA: We will review your request. If approved, we will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and instructions on where to send your package. Do not send items back without an RMA number.

  3. Ship: Pack the item securely in its original packaging and ship it to the address provided in your RMA email.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund based on the condition of the item.

If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5-7 business days (depending on your bank's processing times).
